Half Day - Blacksmith Experience

Spend half a day at Chiltern Forge discovering the satisfaction of making something with your own hands. You’ll turn hot steel into a hook and a bottle opener, learning traditional blacksmithing skills along the way. Both pieces are yours to take home and use.

I’ll explain each step, demonstrate it at the anvil, then guide you as you try it yourself. Drawing on years of experience as an instructor, I adapt my teaching to suit how you learn, helping you build confidence with the tools and techniques.

Whether this is your first time holding a hammer or you’ve tried forging before, you’ll have the guidance and support you need to complete both items. There’s time to ask questions, practice and enjoy watching the steel take shape beneath your hammer.

Come for a few hours of fire, steel and creativity. Leave with new skills, a sense of achievement and two useful pieces you made yourself.
